27 February 2018 – Andy Sullivan was appointed as the new Director of the Dover Fueling Solutions (“DFS”) Wetstock Business Unit in late November 2017. Andy is located in Skelmersdale, UK, and is working closely with the ClearView and Fairbanks teams. Steve Jones, founder of Fairbanks, has been assisting Andy in his new role and for the time being, will continue to support DFS.
As the Director of the Wetstock Business Unit, Andy oversees the Global Wetstock Business Unit’s activities, including increasing DFS’s global wetstock management presence in new geographies; working with Global Engineering to define how the consolidated DFS wetstock management product fits into the overall DFS data architecture; preparing DFS for working with fuels of the future; and exploring new data analysis offerings in the non-petroleum arena.
Prior to joining DFS, Andy was the Managing Director of Servelec Technologies, a division of Servelec Group Plc.
During his time with Servelec, Andy integrated three companies together, rebranding them into a single, global technology business. This new company was a market leader in business optimisation, through the collection and management of data using its own hardware and software. He designed a seven-year technology road map to rationalise three, branded product ranges, into a single integrated range and grew the global channel partner base. He improved turnover by 45% and increased the order book by 37%.
Andy has a Bachelor’s Honours Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. He is the Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Whitworth Centre Charity in the UK.
After three months in his new role, Andy commented “I am very impressed with the positive attitude and customer focus shown by our staff and I feel proud to lead this great team. The DFS wetstock business unit has made a strong start to 2018 and I am convinced that we have an excellent future ahead of us.”
